Fresh off the achievement of Premam, actor Naga Chaitanya is presently anticipating the arrival of his film, Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo, set to discharge this weekends.
“It’s really a relief. When we started the film, we didn’t thinqk things would extend so far. It’s a film I’m really proud of,” says the actor, who has teamed up with executive Gautam Vasudev Menon for the second time after Ye Maaya Chesave.
On the experience of working with director for the second time, the actor shares, “I think it has been easier for him this time around! During Ye Maaya Chesave, I was raw and at the beginning of my career. There’s definitely been lesser number of retakes and I think the maturity has helped.”
The film is a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil with Simbhu featuring in the other form. With every one of his associates and even his dad wandering into Tamil film, Naga Chaitanya concedes that he is not opposed to it.
Wc .“By the time I was on board the film, a couple of days had been shot for the Tamil version. Or I would have definitely considered it. In fact, I think we have similar sensibilities and it would be great to reach out to a wider audience. Maybe this year I will consider it,” he says.
Discussing brother Akhil’s marriage, he says, “I am happy he’s getting married first and that all the attention is being directed to him. I can stay on the sidelines for a while!”
