Sanjay Dutt thanks Mamata Banerjee for standing by him during his tough times

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt went by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and recognized her backing and said thanks to her for remaining with him in his extreme times.

Recalling the condition of the state 11 years ago, when he was shooting there for ‘Parineeta’, the actor said that the chief minister has done a lot to transform the city.

“Last time I visited was during (the filming of) ‘Parineeta’. This time, while coming from the airport, I was pleasantly surprised by what Didi has done in such a little time,” Munnabhai added.

Banerjee was a friend of the legendary actor and Sanjay’s father late Sunil Dutt too and has rallied behind Sanjay when he was punished by the court.
