Shraddha Kapoor is ready to rock the theatres this year with some great projects. The actress, is altogether prepared for her next release, Haseena Parkar, which release on September 22. Before long, she will begin preparing up for her next, yet another biopic! Shraddha has been restricted in by producer Amole Gupte for his film, in view of the life of badminton star Saina Nehwal. Amol trusts that Shraddha possesses all the necessary qualities consummately. In his discussion with a famous newspaper, Amol expressed, “Shraddha resembles Saina. In fact, she was always my first choice. I have had conversations with Saina too. It’s not that this idea popped up recently. I’ve been sitting on this script for two years.”
He further revealed, “Shraddha is undergoing training from ace badminton player Jitesh Padukone to get into her character. She’s so committed to it.”
Shraddha also shared her excitement on being a part of the project. She said, “Most girls would have played badminton at some point in their lives in school. I feel so lucky to be playing Saina, who is not just among the world’s top badminton players, but also a youth icon. I can’t wait to start prepping for my role.”
She added, “I’m sure it’s going to be my most difficult film yet as Saina has spent her whole life playing badminton and in the next few months, I have to get close to the standards she’s set.”
