Priyanka Chopra is standing up on her companion Meghan Markle’s pregnancy — and the performing artist couldn’t be more energized for the anticipating that mom should be!
“I would, as a companion, simply say that I’m extremely energized for her,” Chopra told PEOPLE only on Friday at JBL Fest in Las Vegas.
“I think this is another stage in each lady’s life,” said Chopra, “and I trust hers is as astonishing as she needs it to be.”
Chopra, 36, and Markle, 37, have been close for quite a long while. In May, the Quantico star made a trip to England to observe Markle get married with Prince Harry at the couple’s illustrious wedding.
A month ago, Chopra disclosed to PEOPLE that Markle is “doing stunning” in the wake of going up against the job as the Duchess of Sussex.
“I think kinships rely upon individuals exclusively and how close to home your relationship is,” she said. “You can have work kinships, those are unique. In any case, when you have genuine companionships, similar to our own, it doesn’t make a difference what individuals take a gander at you as or where your reality goes, you kind of simply, stay companions. Also, I surmise that is what we’re similar to.”
Prior this week, Chopra tiptoed around the subject of Markle’s pregnancy, telling E! News, “I simply have a couple of my companions who are having babies at the present time. So I’m similar to, ‘God, I have to get up to speed!’ ”
Also, Chopra’s life partner Nick Jonas appears to be amped up for the possibility of beginning a family!
“[Having a group of my own] is the objective,” he told Cosmopolitan in August. “It’s certainly something that I expectation will occur.”
