Daniel Craig pockets $25m for new Bond film

Daniel Craig is purportedly set to procure $25 million for featuring in the new James Bond film. The 50-year-old performing artist is set to repeat the part as the famous British specialist in ‘Bond 25’, and it’s been guaranteed by Variety that Daniel will get an eye-watering charge for his last appearance as 007.

The expense is more than some other performing artist is set to acquire in the coming years, with Dwayne Johnson as far as anyone knows set to get $22 million for featuring in ‘Red Notice’ in 2020 and Vin Diesel having as of late stashed $20 million for ‘The Fate of the Furious’, which was discharged a year ago. In spite of this, Craig was at first hesitant to focus on the up and coming task, saying at one phase that he’d preferably sliced his wrists than come back to the part.

Asked in 2015 whether he could envision another film in the part, he answered: ‘’Now? I’d rather … slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.’’ But the British star subsequently softened his stance, suggesting he could be open to returning to play Bond. Craig – who made his Bond debut in 2006’s ‘Casino Royale’ – said: ‘’I don’t know what the next step is. I’ve no idea. Not because I’m trying to be cagey.

‘’Who knows? At the moment, we’ve done it. I’m not in discussion with anybody about anything. If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money.’’
