Priyanka Chopra’s take, on denial to bury her Grandmother

Priyanka Chopra‘s grandma passed away as of late. The arrangement for her was to bury her in a Church in Kerala. Chopra’s grandma was a Christian who wedded a Hindu and this was impermissable by the Church.

The representative of the Church said:

“One is automatically disowned by the church under such circumstances. She could have re-joined the church while alive. But once a person is dead, we cannot accept the body for burial.”

Here’s what Priyanka said:

“The act of church was awful. But we should not concentrate on it. Rather we should look that we lost a family member.”
