Neha Dhupia: In the current scenario, I put my country ahead of my film

For Munish Bhardwaj’s directorial debut, Moh Maya Money, a suspense thriller featuring Ranvir Shorey and Neha Dhupia in the lead roles, which releases this Friday (25 November), demonetisation comes at a somewhat perfect time.
Here’s the reason:
Notwithstanding the brouhaha surrounding demonetisation, Neha Dhupia is certain about her film ‘Moh Maya Money’, which releases today. She tells BT, “I thank Pm Modi for endrosing it (laughs). Right now, everyone is talking about money , so it will help us promote the movie. There might be a footfall at cinemas, but in the current scenarios, I put my country ahead of my film.”
Amped up for her author held character, she includes, “My character is interesting and layered. I’m thankful to director Munish Bhardwaj for thinking about me when he wrote the film”. Her chemistry with co-star Ranvir Shorey is likewise being talked about. “For me, he’s one of the top three actors in India. If there’s any goof that comes out of my performances, it’s because of him, he signs off.
