Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik are baffled lovers in the music video for their coordinated effort track, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.”
The clip, released Friday at midnight, starts with Malik maneuvering past paparazzi as he goes into a lodging lift where he meets Swift.
A story of anguish and heartbreak, the combine are then observed independently wrecking an inn room as they apparently grapple with their detachment.
“Baby, baby, I feel crazy/Up all night, all night and every day/Give me something, oh, but you say nothing/What is happening tonight?” Swift can be heard singing on the track until Malik takes over with “I don’t wanna live forever/’Cause I know I’ll be living in pain.”
The track, produced by Jack Antonoff, was composed uniquely for sentimental show continuation Fifty Shades Darker featuring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan which arrives in theaters Feb. 10.
The soundtrack for the film will likewise incorporate tracks by Tove Lo, Halsey, Kygo, Nicki Minaj and Nick Jonas.
