Amitabh Bachchan had gone out of the interview after knowing the death of Vinod Khanna, the former Union Minister of Bollywood and Parliamentary Affairs. He came to know about the news of Khanna’s death when he was about half an interviewed film.
He immediately wrapped up the interview and returned to the hospital. He had interviewed Vinod Khanna’s family and said he wanted to stay with him. Vinod Khanna died at the HN Hospital in Mumbai around 11.20am. He has been under treatment for a serious urinary cancer.
Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor played the lead in the 1977 Amar Akbar Antony with Vinod Khanna.
