Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother Mehroonisa named one of BBC’s ‘100 Most Influential Women’ for 2017

 

Mehroonisa Siddiqui, the mother of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has been chosen  as one of BBC’s 100 Most Influential Women for 2017.

Sixty five-year-old Mehroonisa, who has been described  as a homemaker and pleased mother on the BBC’s site, has a blurb that reads “It’s never too late to learn” alongside her image.

Other Indian ladies who have influenced it to the rundown to incorporate cricketer Mithali Raj, social business person Urvashi Sahni, writer and instructor Tulika Sahni, among others. CanadianIndian creator/artist Rupi Kaur was likewise specified on the rundown.

Nawaz tweeted a complimentary message for his mom on Thursday, 28 September, after the BBC reported its rundown.

Under a photo of himself with Mehroonisa, the actor wrote:

“A lady who showed courage against all odds, (despite) being from a conservative family, from a small village — my mother.”

Good wishes poured in from fans of the actor n his mother’s achievement.
