It would appear that Parineeti Chopra’s Bollywood star is at last on the climb. After Golmaal Again shook the movies a year ago, the 29-year-old performing artist has now packed away another enormous spending generation. Parineeti will be the female lead in Akshay Kumar’s up and coming film, Kesari.
Kesari maker Karan Johar took to Twitter to make the declaration on Wednesday.
“The lead actress in #KESARI is ……..PARINEETI CHOPRA! @ParineetiChopra,” he tweeted with a photo, which was surprisingly, of Akshay Kumar in his Kesari get up rather than one of Parineeti.

Parineeti responded to KJo’s tweet with one of her own. “So excited to be a part of this legendary journey!!! Thankyouuu @karanjohar @akshaykumar @DharmaMovies #AnuragSingh #Kesari,” she tweeted.
Kesari depends on the Battle of Sargarhi, which occurred in 1897 between British Indian Army and Afghan Orakzai tribesmen in North-West Frontier Province in Pakistan. Akshay plays Havildar Ishar Singh, who drove the Sikh regiment of the British Indian Army. Coordinated by Anurag Singh, Kesari will hit the screens on Holi 2019.
It is up ’til now vague in the matter of what part Parineeti will article in the film.
Meanwhile, Lawrence Woodward, the stunt coordinator behind Hollywood films Mad Max: Fury Road and Moulin Rouge, is designing the action scenes for Kesari. Major portions of the battle will be shot in Wai.
