Game of Thrones’ Carice van Houten to star in The Glass Room

 

As per Variety, Game of Thrones performing artist Carice van Houten has marked on to star in a wide screen adjustment of Simon Mawer’s Man Booker Prize finalist novel The Glass Room.

Portrayed as “a romantic tale about the connection between two ladies set in a notable innovator house in Czechoslovakia worked by big name draftsman Ludwig Mies van der Rohe”, The Glass Room is said to be in the vein of The English Patient and Carol.

The Glass Room is being coordinated by Julius Sevcik (Normal – The Dusseldorf Ripper) and will see Van Houten featuring nearby Hanna Alstrom (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Karel Roden (McMafia), Alexandra Borbely (On Body and Soul), Roland Moller (Atomic Blonde) and Claes Bang (The Square). Generation is set to get in progress in February, shooting at areas in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Austria and Italy.
