The Vikram Vedha actor, who was in Chennai for the Tamil trailer launch of Breathe an Amazon Prime Original series, welcomed the actors, who stepped into politics recently.
“I fully support them. It feels good when honest people enter politics and do their best to clean it,” noted Madhavan Breathe is jointly produced by Amazon Prime Video and Abundantia Entertainment.
Directed by Mayank Sharma, Breathe, is an 8-episode gritty, psychological thriller that explores the lives of ordinary people faced with extraordinary circumstances. With this launch, Amazon Prime Video continues to produce original content that could find appeal with both Indian and global audiences.
Earlier, speaking at the Tamil trailer launch of the series in Chennai, Madhavan said that it was one of the most rewarding experiences he has had in career. “I thought the subject and the story were strong, and I was afraid of actually being in a situation like this in real life. It was a conflict that was phenomenal and very real,” he said.
Breathe will be released on 26 January, in three languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, across 200 countries and territories worldwide. The series features R Madhavan, Amit Sadh and Sapna Pabbi in the lead roles.
