Not once, but rather twice, before Barbra Streisand’s puppy passed on, she cloned it.
The US vocalist and on-screen character revealed this in a meeting distributed Tuesday by Variety magazine.
Streisand’s puppy Samantha – a Coton de Tulear, a little breed with a cotton-like coat – passed on a year ago.
The cloned variants are named Miss Violet and Miss Scarlett.
Streisand, 75, did not give numerous subtle elements of the cloning but rather said she gathered cells from the mouth and stomach of her diminishing pooch.
Of the new pooches, and Samantha, the two-time Oscar champ stated: “I’m sitting tight for them to get more seasoned so I can check whether they have her dark colored eyes and reality.”
At the point when Streisand brought the pooches home she dressed them in violet and red to disclose to them separated.
She has a third canine, a far off relative of Samantha, that she calls Miss Fanny.
