Martin Freeman says Sherlock fans made the show ‘not fun anymore’

Fewer  fans are more zealous than those of the TV program Sherlock – from making images, to fan workmanship and notwithstanding composing whole anecdotal universes.

They even have a Wikihow page with 11 stages to accurately be a fan.

Yet, in another meeting, Sherlock star Martin Freeman – who played Dr Watson in the arrangement – has uncovered that fans cherished the show to death, saying their desires were high to the point that making the show was simply “terrible any longer.”

It was “somewhat outlandish” to satisfy the fans’ desires, Freeman uncovered to The Telegraph.

“Sherlock became the animal that it became immediately,” he said.

He explained that while the UK series The Office was a “slow burn”, Sherlock was “frankly notably high quality from the outset”.

“Being in that show, it is a mini-Beatles thing,” he concluded.

“People’s expectations, some of it’s not fun anymore. It’s not a thing to be enjoyed, it’s a thing of: ‘You better f**king do this, otherwise, you’re a c***.’ That’s not fun anymore.”

When the actor was asked if there was any discussion of a fifth season, he responded “not massively”, blaming the reception of the fourth season.
