‘Stree’ is an entertaining film, says Rajkummar Rao

Mika Singh’s voice murmuring “Milegi” from the forthcoming repulsiveness parody Stree booms through Maddock Films’ office in Santa Cruz. The film’s stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor shake a leg to the melody for photos, therefore the team are in high spirits when they take a seat for a visit – laughing all through the meeting. Kapoor even overlooks the substantial studs that she is holding up to take off once the two begin to joyously escape answers to keep the film’s secrets unblemished.

Drawing from Karnataka’s legend ‘Nale Ba’ (Come tomorrow) about a witch that preys on men, and other spine-chilling stories, Stree takes after the narrative of a women’s tailor in Chanderi named Vicky, played by Rao. “He is an extremely reasonable person, and doesn’t put stock in apparitions or spirits,” shares Rao.

Kapoor then again is tight-lipped about her part as the lady Vicky falls profoundly enamored with. The story unfurls as Vicky’s judiciousness is shaken when companions propose that she could be ‘Stree’. “Regardless of whether I am ‘Stree’ or not is up for surmises,” Kapoor says with a twinkle in her eye.
