Kidman: ‘Cruise marriage protected me from harassment’

 

Nicole Kidman has said her marriage to Tom Cruise gave her “security” from inappropriate behavior right off the bat in her profession.

The Australian performer wedded Cruise in 1990 after they featured together in the film Days Of Thunder.

She stated: “I got hitched exceptionally youthful, yet it certainly wasn’t control for me – it was security.

“I wedded for adoration, yet being hitched to a to a great degree ground-breaking man shielded me from being explicitly hassled.” The couple separated in 2001.

Talking about Hollywood’s provocation outrage, Kidman stated: “obviously I’ve had MeToo minutes – since I was close to nothing! Be that as it may, would I like to uncover them in an article? No. Do they turn out in my work? Totally.”

Kidman and Cruise, who amid their marriage received two kids, Isabella, now 25, and child Connor, now 23, separated in 2001.

Kidman said her partition from Cruise constrained her to “grow up”.

She expressed: “I would work, however I was still especially covered. So when I left it at 32, 33, it’s relatively similar to I needed to grow up.”

Kidman wedded down home music vocalist Keith Urban in 2006. The couple have two little girls together: Sunday, 10, and Faith, seven.
