Irfan Pathan on Tuesday announced the birth of a baby boy. The skilled all-rounder took to Twitter shared the good news to his fans, and said he’s “blessed”.
The 32-year-old all-rounder from Baroda married to Safa Baig in February 2016. He composed on his Twitter handle that, “Is ehsas ko Bayaan karna Mushkil hai…is me Ek behtareen si Kashish hay (sic.), blessed with a baby boy.”

Viewed as a standout amongst the most talented all-rounders India has ever created, Irfan played 29 Tests, 120 ODIs and T20Is.
He is associated with ‘one and only’ first over cap trap off the initial three balls in Test, against Pakistan at Karachi in 2006. India notoriously lost the match by 341 runs.
He however failed to solidify his place in the national team, and ended up driving Baroda’s domestic campaigns with sibling Yusuf.
