Celebrity couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their first child together, a son, in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Tuesday.
After the child was born, Kareena and Saif released a statement in which they said that they had named their son as Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.
“We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection,” Saif and Kareena said in a statement.
Saif and Kareena married in 2012 as they started dating while working on 2008’s Tashan. After Tashan, they have worked in movies like Kurbaan and Agent Vinod. Saif additionally has two children, Sara and Ibrahim, from his previous spouse, actor Amrita Singh.
To the extent work is concerned, Saif Ali Khan will be seen next in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, co-featuring Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor. Kareena Kapoor Khan was most recently seen in Udta Punjab and will start chip away at Veere Di Wedding soon.
