Ellen DeGeneres started an online civil argument when she shared a photograph this week that demonstrates her ogling at Katy Perry’s bosoms in a glad birthday tweet to the artist.
The photograph, from 2013, catches the moderator taking an overstated gaze at Perry’s cleavage while spouse Portia de Rossi giggles. The inscription peruses: “It’s time to bring out the big balloons!”
The “balloons”line references a verse in Perry’s 2013 melody “Birthday.”

Be that as it may, with sensitivities running high in the wake of rape and provocation claims against maker Harvey Weinstein, chief James Toback, writer Mark Halperin and previous President George H.W. Shrubbery, the picture struck a nerve.
Some Twitter user got out DeGeneres for propagating a twofold standard. Others rejected the clamor as political accuracy gone too far, calling attention to that DeGeneres and Perry are companions.
